Mike Wallace of the Pittsburgh Steelers is still holding out and his negotiations with the team seem to be at a standstill. As there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel should the Steelers entertain trade offers for Wallace? As a rule, the Steelers rarely if ever give in to holdouts and given what many consider a enormous ego it is doubtful that Wallace will swallow his pride and report to camp.
If the Steelers "stand their ground" and refuse to give in to Wallace he will play under a 2.7 million tender, becoming a free agent after the 2012 season. Wallace could give in, sign the tender and consider lowering his asking price possibly setting up a "win" situation for both parties. However if Wallace refuses to do so and the Steelers stand firm this is unlikely to happen.
The Steelers have stated that they are not entertaining trade talks--but then with what seems to be a stalemate--should they?
Should the Steelers think about a Wallace trade?
