Browns Backup QB--McCoy or Wallace

The Cleveland Browns have many decisions to make regarding their final roster heading into the 2012 regular season. One of those decisions, sure to get a great deal of attention will be whether to keep Colt McCoy or Seneca Wallace as backup quarterback to Brandon Weeden. Both McCoy and Wallace realize that one of them will be the backup, while the other if still on the roster will be the No. 3 QB. The question is simple, will either accept being the third string QB, or will the Browns allow it to happen?
In recent statements Wallace has made it clear that he believes that he or McCoy will not be around when the season starts:
"Can any of you guys see all three of us being here?'' Wallace said. "You've written about it, so that answers your question...Probably not,'' he said.
Although coach Pat Shurmur stated that it is possible that Wallace and McCoy will both remain on the roster, Wallace has no desire to be the No. 3 QB:
"No not really (I don't want to be third),'' Wallace said. "That's something for no reason you go down to the third guy and we all know the third guy doesn't dress on Sundays," said Wallace, "and if that comes down to that decision, obviously neither (he or McCoy) wants to be that third guy.''
On the other hand, McCoy believes he is still in the running for starting quarterback:
"I have not gone there in my mind,'' he said. "When I come out to practice, in my mind I’m the starter. That’s the only way I look at it."
It seems highly likely that when either Wallace or McCoy are penciled in at #3 they will ask to be traded. Wallace is a veteran with numerous years as a backup and surely wants the opportunity to play even if designated as a backup. McCoy will being seeking the opportunity to play with the hopes of increasing his value possibly landing a starting position on a team in need of a quarterback. Although McCoy is the cheaper option, Wallace has a great deal more knowledge and experience running the West Coast Offense.
If neither will accept being the #3 QB and the Browns decided to release one of the two, who should go Wallace or McCoy?
